Your brain is the power grid your body relies on to perform all its functions.

With more than eighty billion cables called neurons, your brain sends messages to every part of your body, enabling you to carry out your daily activities.

Every time you perform an action or learn something new, it’s the neurons communicating with each other that makes it possible.

However, the brain can get overburdened by work and starts to perform poorly, causing you to feel drained and forgetful.

When electricity grids collapse, businesses, hospitals, schools, and homes are disrupted. It’s the same with the body.

When the neurons misfire because of stress, anxiety, and burnout, the body starts to feel awful and you may lose your mind.

And one thing that’s been found to cause brain overdrive is overwork.

The Culture of Overwork

Many people overwork themselves today more than ever. The pressure of work means even at home most people never really stop working, allowing them little or no time for rest.
