When you’re facing a difficult situation, you don’t always make choices and decisions that are good for you.

The problem is you don’t even see it because you’re so emotionally invested in the situation. This clouds your reasoning and stops you from seeing the bigger picture.

Many times, we give the best advice to other people to solve their problems but can’t apply the same to our problems.

Is this a new challenge? No, it’s not.

Solomon’s Paradox Explained

Solomon was the legendary king of Israel.

At the start of his reign, Biblical accounts have it that God appeared to Solomon in a dream and offered to give him whatever he desired. But instead of wealth, honor, or long life, Solomon asked for the wisdom of judgment.

This wisdom was soon put to the test when two women — both claiming to be the mother of a boy — were brought to his court.

Solomon ordered for the child to be sliced in half, knowing that the true mother would rather give him up than watch her son butchered.
