In today’s Creator Economy, the ability to write something worth reading and sharing by thousands, if not millions, of people is a valuable skill anyone can have.

But to be successful, you need to consistently work on improving your craft.

In a video lecture on YouTube titled: “The Craft of Writing Effectively” by Larry McEnerney, former Director of Writing Programs, at The University of Chicago, he talks about what it takes to become a better writer on the web.

In this article, I have distilled, in short, and simple paragraphs, the lessons I learned from the 80-minutes video. These vital lessons have helped me accelerate my writing career.
