Men always have a string of complaints about things women do that annoy them and can put their relationship on the line. Here are five things a woman might be doing that men wish you weren’t.
Expecting him to read your mind
A man cannot read a woman’s mind and so cannot know what she’s thinking until she expresses it. He may try to guess, but there’s no way to know for sure what’s on her mind.
According to studies, empathic accuracy — the ability to read your partner’s mind or understand their unspoken thoughts/feelings in everyday interactions— averages only about 30-35 percent among married partners. In other words, the odds of incorrectly reading your partner’s mind can be as high as 65-80 percent.
Yet, most women keep expecting their men to intuitively detect what their problem is, or what they need help with.
Sometimes your partner will pick up on your moods and feelings, other times they won’t. And if care is not taken, this can lead to avoidable arguments.
