Lacking any one of them makes your life feel incomplete

Freedom isn’t just a buzzword. It isn’t about being physically unrestricted or living outside an oppressive government.

True freedom is about finding harmony and balance in all areas of your life and creating a sense of wholeness and well-being.

It’s having the flexibility to allocate your time and energy to different aspects of your life based on your priorities and not being limited in any way.

I recently read a book by psychologist Benjamin Hardy titled, “Who Not How,” and learned that there’s more to freedom than the superficial meaning we often ascribe to it.

To have a fulfilling life, we need freedom in six fundamental areas of our lives, and guess what? Most people fall short in at least one of them.

“Everything that is really great and inspiring is created by the individuals who can labour in freedom.”

— Albert Einstein

The goal of this article is to help you see where you’re bankrupt and what to do to fix it.

Time Freedom

One of the biggest problems most people have is time poverty.

According to a Gallup survey, 6 in 10 Americans say they don’t have enough time to do what they want. They’re always in a hurry, wishing they had more time.

Being time-poor doesn’t mean you have less than 24 hours in a day; it’s about failing to prioritize and organize yourself efficiently.

Many people get caught up in building their careers and chasing money they don’t realize they’re trading their time.

They find themselves so choked with work, family, social, and other commitments that they never seem to have time to do anything else.

If you’re juggling meetings and appointments, answering the phone and replying to emails, working 60 hours every week, and having little or no time for yourself, your family, and other activities that bring you joy, you’re time-poor.
