Little Nuggets of Wisdom That Will Shift Your Thinking

Our behaviors are determined by our thoughts. Bad decisions and actions are often undamentally a consequence of bad thinking.

Yet, you don’t always need grand ideas to shift your mindset or provide life-changing insights. Most times, simple ideas can spark fresh thinking and inspire a change in behaviors.

Here are some ideas that I’ve picked up over time that can shift your thinking and help you act differently.

1. When it comes to motivating human actions, pain is twice as powerful as pleasure. As a result, you’re twice as likely to be successful if you offer people solutions that alleviate their pains rather than provide pleasure.

2. The only psychology you need to know to be a successful person is that humans are hopelessly lazy. They despise doing things on their own. They’re afraid to try. But if you change your thinking even a little to be more action-oriented, you’ll most likely outperform 90% of people in your field.

3. Don’t oversleep while you’re just starting out in business. Before it can take off and leave you alone, the business must have a life of its own. If you rest before the business begins to walk, the business will die prematurely, and you will eventually die financially.
