Life is Ephemeral, Then What?

Life is fleeting. No matter how mighty, how powerful, or how revered one may be, time remains undefeated.
It humbles the strongest, withers the most beautiful, and weakens the most dominant.
Think of the lion. It’s nature’s greatest predator, the ruler of the savanna. In its prime, the lion moves with majesty, feared by all, envied by none. It chases, hunts, devours, and roars with the authority of a king.
It takes what it wants, when it wants, leaving behind only scraps for scavengers.
But time is ruthless.
The once-mighty lion that struck fear into herds of antelope will one day struggle to catch a single weak gazelle. The lion that commanded the land will find itself too slow, too weak, too tired. Its muscles will betray it. Its teeth will dull. Its roar will lose the power to command respect.
And then, the inevitable happens.
The same hyenas that once skulked in the shadows, waiting for leftovers, will now circle the aging lion. They sense weakness. They wait. They know the end is near.
At its peak, the lion was untouchable. It had no equals. But now, the same scavengers it once…
