The urge to pass judgment (on yourself or others) is usually a symptom of a more serious emotional problem.

If you’ve been hurt or broken before, the bad experience might affect how you see and relate to yourself and others. But, allowing yourself to heal implies accepting that you love yourself enough to let go of the pain in order to move forward.

Self-care is all about forgiving yourself and anyone who hurts you in the past. It’s about letting go of the emotional baggage that often triggers the need to judge.
