Some people have bad habits that make it nearly impossible to keep their friends for long.

When they meet someone new and become close, it doesn’t take long before this person gets tired of their bad habits and begins to avoid them.

I’ve been there before, where I found myself distancing myself from someone I initially liked. We didn’t have personal issues. It’s just that they had certain habits with which I didn’t feel comfortable.

Habits have a subtle way of being unconsciously transferrable. If you don’t want to start a specific habit, don’t put yourself in an environment that makes it easy to internalize the habit.

People rarely like those who never get tired of yapping non-stop.
