We live in a world where it can be challenging to measure the benefits of experiences that don’t yield tangible results like money.

We consider an activity a waste of time if it doesn’t produce easily measurable results.

Contrary to popular belief, those experiences that are often dismissed as “faffing off” are not entirely without value.

Rather than being a mere waste of time, these activities do serve important purposes in our physical and mental health, creative endeavors, and overall well-being.

Taking Time to Relax And Have Some Fun

Many of us believe that relaxing and having a bit of fun is a waste of time.

We’ve become so caught up in the everyday hustle culture, chasing deadlines, and trying to accomplish a million things at once.

What we don’t realize is that being constantly on the go and hustling without a break is responsible for growing rates of stress and anxiety.

We’re seeing more cases of burn out, fatigue, and depression more than ever, including lower productivity.
