Few things can make you sick as some of the habits you’re taking for granted. Here are six you can cut off now:

Eating Your Food Too Fast

Eating slowly and properly chewing your food is good for your health.

It allows you to break down large particles of food into smaller ones to help digestion and nutrition.

But in today’s world where we’re constantly on the go, many people rush their meals just to get back to their packed schedules.

Done occasionally, rushing your mean in a few minutes may not matter much. However, when it becomes a regular daily practice, it can cause real harm to the body.

In a 2017 study, Dr. Takayuki Yamaji and his colleagues carried out an experiment involving 1,000 Japanese.

Participants were carefully monitored for a period of 5 years to find out if a link exists between eating speed and the incidence of metabolic syndrome.

Metabolic syndrome is the umbrella term for the five high-risk factors associated with significant diseases such as diabetes, heart attack, stroke, dementia, and cancers
