How to Maintain High Energy Level And Boost Your Productivity

Productivity starts with energy.

How you manage your energy can determine how productive you can be, regardless of the amount of time you may have on your hands.

If you’re weak and tired, having all the time won’t help you much. But you can get so much done in a short time if you’re feeling strong and energetic.

How do you keep your energy level so you can do deep work without relying on artificial enhancers like caffeine?

1. Understand Your Energy Cycle

The first step to consistently maintaining a high energy level is to understand your energy cycle.

Throughout the day, energy levels go up and down. There are periods of upswing when we feel energized and capable of getting anything done.

However, there are also downswings when you don’t feel like to do anything and all you just want is to rest.

The reason for these swings is because our mental resource isn’t infinite. As you think and make decisions at work, you’re using up your energy.

Over time, it gets so low that it can no longer support you to do your best work.
