Acknowledging and expressing your emotions

Emotions are how we experience reality in its different dimensions be it fear, sadness, love, excitement, beauty, and so on.

Sadly, most people mask their emotions and even deny how they feel because society has made it look like it’s a weakness to honestly express what we feel. But it takes real strength to acknowledge how you feel, express, and voice your heartfelt emotions, however vulnerable doing so makes you feel.

When you express your true feelings, you not only become more aware of them, others also become aware. This helps strengthen your relationships and foster empathy.
