I’ve always enjoyed bathing in cold water, dating back to my early school days. I’d take a cold bath in the morning, even in the cold weather.

It made me feel alert and agile during the day. I recall how I used to feel feverish in the afternoon any time I had a bath with warm or hot water.

I may not have understood how a cold bath affected my health. Over the years, though, personal experiences and research have helped me discover that it’s one of the most effective ways to relieve stress.
