Here are five every day habits that we take for granted but often turn out to be harmful to the body over time.

1. Using your smartphone all the time

Our phones have become an indispensable part of our everyday life, helping us not only to stay in touch with loved ones but also to carry out important tasks at work.

While there is nothing wrong with using our phones, the problem often starts when we can no longer put them down.

The average person picks up their phone again just 3 minutes after dropping it. And for 71% of people, the phone is one of the first things they pick up within the first 10 minutes of waking in the morning.

We’re in a screen pandemic.

If you’re not careful, getting addicted to your phone screen can have telling consequences on your health, including your relationship.

When you’re always looking at your screen, you can’t be present in your interactions with other people. This can make it difficult to hear what others are saying to you during conversations.
