Success in life doesn’t come cheap. You absolutely need to do hard things to achieve it in the long run.

The most successful people are those who are willing to do the hard things that the average person is afraid or unwilling to do.

These are what change your life and make the difference between a mediocre life and a fulfilling one.

Here are five hard things that only a few people are willing to do to achieve greatness.

They Live Their Truth

In today’s world, where you’re constantly bombarded with messages about who you should be, what you should look like, and how you should act, living your truth becomes an act of courage.

Philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche once said, “the individual has always had to struggle to keep from being overwhelmed by the tribe.”

Unfortunately, the vast majority of people are getting overwhelmed by the norms and expectations of society to live a life that’s not theirs.

In trying to fit in, they lose their own sense of identity and can no longer define a set of personal philosophies that underpin their choices and actions.

That’s why too many people are afraid to be themselves. They’re not comfortable in their own skin and are constantly pointing out their flaws. They follow the crowd.

But living your truth means accepting every aspect of yourself and being honest with yourself and others about who you are, what you want, and what you believe in.

When you live your truth, you’re willing to go against society’s norms and expectations, listen to your inner voice, and follow your own path.

This is scary and challenging, which explains why only a few people do it. But it’s how you create your own path to a fulfilling and meaningful life.

The most successful people in the world, be it in art, politics, business, or academia, live their truth. They embrace their quirks and use their unique qualities to change the world.
