Kidney disease is a global health crisis affecting 10% of all adults in the world. Among people aged 65 to 74, it’s estimated that one in five men, and one in four women, has a kidney disease.

In the United States alone, more than 1 in 7 adults or 37 million people are suffering chronic kidney problem.

Unfortunately, most people don’t realize a major cause of kidney problems has to do with everyday lifestyle. For example, drinking too much alcohol doesn’t allow the kidneys to excrete toxins from the body and this can cause damage to our health.

However, what’s more worrying is that millions of people living with different types of kidney problems often are not aware of it.

Nine in ten people have no clue they have a kidney problem.
