We all want to live an optimal lifestyle. We want to have a healthy, happy, and meaningful life.

What often stands in our way, however, aren’t the things we fail to do. It’s actually those things we do too much of.

You exercise to stay fit. You work to make money and build a successful career. Yet, these activities play important roles, they can also have severe unintended consequences if you don’t control how you do them.

Work is an important part of our lives. It gives us a sense of meaning and satisfaction.

But many people become slaves to their work and career. They overwork themselves to get a promotion or raise.

When you prioritize your work over other equally important aspects of your life, you simply relegate those areas to advance your career goals.
