Prioritize These 11 Habits To Have Better Results in 2024
Many people expect the New Year will make their lives better. They think, “I’ll have more money in 2024," or “I’ll exercise more this year.”
What they don’t realize is that a new year is no different from the one before. It has no power to change anyone’s life. That’s why New Year’s resolutions often don’t work.
The New Year won’t change your life or bring better results. You won’t suddenly make more money, have a fitter body, or become an expert just because it’s 2024. Everything you will accomplish will come from what you choose to do differently.
Yet, there’s something beneficial about a new year—a chance for personal stock-taking.
Firstly, you get to reflect on the past year and assess both your successes and failures. What did you do well? In what areas of your life did you find the most success? What areas didn’t work well? What mistakes did you make? What challenges did you face?
Secondly, to reorient and restart. How can you enhance what’s working? What needs to change? Where should your focus be?
The key isn’t to judge or compare yourself with other people but to demand more from yourself. As Peter Drucker rightly said:
“What you can’t measured, you can’t manage.”
